The Яцѕѕгдп Connection

According to Alex

Andrew Landeryou has been located by the Australian government.

Apprently he's in Russia, where apparently his father has some business dealings.

Who'd have thought?
I wonder if this means we'll see Andy any time soon...

The last deportation of an Australian from Russia was in 1990, and it followed 7 years of court appeals in Russia from the then corporate magnate John Allen. Finally, he obtained a citizenship to some other little island nation and Australia was not able to exercise extrodition treaties for his return, as his new country charged him with "operating a vehicle in an unsafe way" and under international law, if the country to which a person bears citizenship issues criminal charges and proceedings against one of its citizens, the current citizenship takes priorities, not the earler. So will Andrew be back? We would all like to hope so, but at the moment it looks like Chase for Skase (aka Landeryou) is on!

As I previously posted in Alex's blog, Does anyone know if there was any CPI adjustment or similar annual index built into the Optima deal? i.e. did the amount MUSUi was contracted to pay Optima increase each year at the rate of inflation or at some other rate?

Russia??? What, couldn't he get to Majorca? I reckon he'll trot out the wheelchair and the breathing mask any minute now.

He will fit right in Russia as it is a very corrupt nation. It is also a cheap place to have one killed. So maybe he mightn't want to hang out there too long.

From memory, it was worse than a CPI adjustment, it was a 'market rate', with a ratchet effect. Basically, if the rental market in the area goes up, so did the rent in the optima deal. If the rental market goes down, the rent in the optima deal stays put
